Battle of Resaca

We are very proud to have been commissioned to write a song about the Battle of Resaca (Georgia) in conjunction with the opening of the new state park there, and the battle's 149th and 150th anniversary coming up this May and next. Stay tuned for more about our involvement with the new park.

"Glorieta" videos

Here's the video for our very first live-on-battlefield song recording for An Army Without Music (our third album).

This is "Glorieta", recorded on the porch of Kozlowski’s Ranch at Glorieta Pass, New Mexico, right by the road that now runs through the battle site. The song is the story of Union Major John Chivington.

In 2013, we'll be recording nine other songs on battle sites threatened or destroyed by development. We're making a double disc - one side, live recordings - the other side, studio versions of the same songs.

And behind the scenes...
